What is Beconase Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray?

Beconase Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray gives all day and night relief in the prevention and treatment of common symptoms of hay fever and airborne allergies. This simple-to-use nasal spray works right where the problem starts, in the nose. 

Beconase Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray quickly brings relief from allergy symptoms like:

• itchy eyes

• sneezing

• runny nose 

• watery/red eyes

• itchy nose/sinus discomfort

• nasal congestion

Beclametasone dipropionate is the active ingredient which is a steroid based anti-inflammatory, the key to reducing irritation and swelling in your nose.

Warnings and Precautions

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

• Read the package leaflet before use.

DO NOT USE IF:

• Do not take this product if you are allergic to beclometasone dipropionate or any of the other listed ingredients

SPEAK TO YOUR GP OR PHARMACIST BEFORE USE IF:

• You have an infection in your nose.

• You have recently had surgery on your nose.

• You have tuberculosis (TB).

• It is intended for a child. Beclometasone spray is suitable for children over the age of 6 years, but only if it has been prescribed by a doctor.

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• You are taking or using other medicines.

Ingredients:

Active ingredients: Contains 50 micrograms of Beclometasone Dipropionate per spray

Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Dextrose, Polysorbate 80, Purified Water, Preservatives: Benzalkonium Chloride, Phenylethylalcohol

How do I use Beconase Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray?

Dosage:

Over 18 years: TWO sprays into each nostril morning and evening. Maximum 8 sprays in 24 hours.

If symptoms have not improved after 7 days medical advice should be sought.

Under 18 years: not recommended.

How to use:

• Prime pump before first use or if not used for more than 1 week.

• Shake well before use.

• Blow your nose before use.

• Close ONE nostril.

• When using, tilt your head forward a little.

• Put nose spray tube into other nostrils.

• While breathing in through the nose, press down once to release the spray.

• Breathe out from your mouth.

• Do not blow your nose for 15 minutes after you use it.

• Spray up the nose only. Do not spray onto the wall joining the two nostrils.

• Wipe the nozzle clean.

• Put the cap back on after you are done using it.

What are the side effects of Beconase Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray?

Beconase nasal spray may cause side effects. Be aware not everyone will suffer from them.

Possible side effects:

• headache

• nasal irritation, stuffiness, or dryness

• sneezing

• nosebleed

• joint or muscle pain

• nausea

• lightheadedness

• unpleasant taste or smell

• muscle weakness

• bruise easily

• menstrual period changes

• acne

• white patches in your throat, mouth, or nose

Some side effects can be serious.

If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using beconase nasal spray and speak to your GP, Pharmacist or get emergency medical treatment as soon as possible:

• wheezing

• hives

• rash

• itching

• difficulty breathing or swallowing

• swollen face, lower legs, or ankles

• vision changes
