What is Benylin Mucus Cough Max Menthol?

Benylin Mucus Cough Max Honey and Lemon is a maximum strength formula designed to reduce chest congestion by loosening mucus.

Chesty and mucus coughs tend to stem from a build-up of mucus in the chest and lungs.

Guaifenesin is the active ingredient that helps to thin the mucus and loosen it making it easier to cough up.

Warnings and Precautions

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

• Read the package leaflet before use.

• Do not use it if the expiration date printed on the carton has passed.

DO NOT USE IF:

• If you are allergic to the ingredients contained in the syrup

Active Ingredients: Guaifenesin 100mg.

Also contains Ethanol, glucose, and sucrose.

How do I take Benylin mucus cough max?

Dosage:

Adults and children 12 years and over:

Take TWO 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) four times a day.

Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.

Not suitable for children under 12 years.

What are the side effects of Benylin mucus cough max?

Benylin mucus cough max side effects are usually very minor.

The following are some of the side effects that may be associated with Benylin mucus cough max:

• Abdominal pain.

• Diarrhea.

• Feeling sick.

• Vomiting.

• Allergic reactions such as a rash or itching. Stop using the cough medicine and get medical advice if you think you've had an allergic reaction to it.
