How does Hydrogen peroxide work as a disinfectant?
Hydrogen peroxide disinfects by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with surfaces, killing bacteria in the process.
Warnings and Precautions
- Not suitable to use as a mouthwash for children of 12 years and younger.
- Be careful when using Hydrogen Peroxide as it can bleach fabrics if they come into contact.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Once opened use within 28 days.
- If you accidentally swallow some see a doctor straight away.
- Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.
Do not use if:
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding unless specifically told to by your GP.
- You are allergic to the ingredients this product contains.
Do not use:
- On normal skin
- On the eyes or in the eyes
- In closed body cavities
- On surgical wounds
- As an enema
- To disinfect surgical instruments
- If the product is out of date
