What are Viscotears Liquid Gel Drops?
Viscotears Liquid Gel is a carbomer-based artificial tear preparation.
It is used for the treatment of the symptoms of dry eye (such as soreness, burning, irritation, or dryness) caused by your eye not producing enough tears to keep the eye wet or due to environmental factors.
Carbomer-based preparations can cling to the surface of the eye more easily than other artificial tear preparations, which allows a reduced frequency of application.

Warnings and Precautions:
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- For external ophthalmic use only.
- Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients these drops contain.
- Do not touch the eye with the tip of the container.
- Leave at least 10-15 minutes between administration of any other ophthalmic drug.
Read the package leaflet before use.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place that is below 25 degrees C. Store in original packaging and do not use if the expiration date printed on the carton has passed.
Ingredients:
The active ingredient is carbomer 980 2.0 mg per gram (0.2 %
w/w).
Other ingredients are cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, and water
for injections.
