Conotrane cream can be used to treat nappy rash and protect the skin from moisture, irritants, and chafing. It is used for elderly people who have bedsores or incontinence and are likely to get a urinary rash from the skin being in prolonged contact with urine. Conotrane can also be a treatment for the nappy rash to protect the skin from moisture, irritants, and chafing. This cream forms a thin layer over the skin which protects and promotes the healing of the skin.
Conotrane cream contains two active ingredients dimeticone and benzalkonium chloride.
Silicone fluid is a water-repellant. When applied to the skin it creates a barrier between the skin and water or any other water-soluble skin irritants.
An antiseptic that is effective against a wide range of bacteria and yeast (fungal) infections, that are often present with nappy rash.
This cream forms a thin layer over the skin which protects and promotes the healing of the skin.

Conotrane contains Paraffin which is a highly flammable ingredient, so do not smoke or go near naked flames while using this product. You should also be aware that any fabrics that come into contacts with this cream, such as clothing, bedding, bandages, or dressings, will burn more easily. Stay away from sources of ignition, make sure bandages and dressings are changed regularly, and change and wash your clothes and bedding to help reduce the build-up of product.
You are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Benzalkonium chloride, dimeticone, cetostearyl alcohol, macrogol cetostearyl ether, white soft paraffin, light liquid paraffin, macrogol, potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate, geranium, and water.
Apply the cream to the affected area several times a day when needed.
